"This project was a large three slab table/reception center with four 12’ outside radii and four 9’ inside radii. I drew it on the slab and cut it with the AccuGlide and circle cut accessory without templates. It literally was perfect! We truly needed an innovative solution for this project because this wasn’t going to happen with our Brembana. Once the pieces were in place and we set our center point the piece had to be stationary. The only other way to do this project would have been with a CNC or waterjet. Simplicity was one of the really nice things about it. It’s easy to set up and it’s accurate. We were ecstatic with the job it did.
For straight cuts, we’ve found we can rely on the AccuGlide for predictable precision cutting on site and in the shop. It’s easy to set up and use on site. The cuts are so clean it makes the edge work easy."

Granitech is a newly established company on the East Coast under the management of persons with years of experience in the stone industry. Personally, I have worked with both big vertical horizontal cutting saws and small 5HP saws. Initially, I was not convinced that a small machine like AccuGlide could solve my problems, so I purchased it with the idea of using it as a back up saw. After using the machine for less than a week, however, I realized that I was mistaken. AccuGlide proved to be an accurate and fast saw capable of making clean cuts.
With ninety percent of my work centered around the fabrication of countertops, I have to deal with templates, and it is much faster moving the tracks instead of turning the table or moving the slab to achieve the desired angle. The machine has also proven to be cost efficient in terms of electricity, diamond blades used, and water usage. Each of the turbo 8 in. blades can cut 1,500 sqf of 1 1/4 in. granite, and here I am not referring only to soft granite. Ultimately, the saw itself can challenge any larger scale saw in both speed and accuracy. Finally, I would like to congratulate the engineer who designed the saw and the company itself for its excellent customer service. This has been the best and most economical purchase I have made in recent years.

Well I said I would write and let you know how we were doing. (Me and the Accu-Glide, that is!!) I'm impressed beyond words, but I'll find a few, I'm sure.
This saw, and its associated parts, are well thought out, well engineered and well built. I've designed a few things for my shop and could only hope for the kind of success and impact you and this saw' will have on the stone trade.
As you know Grace, I was a little taken back by the price at first but I sure am glad I got past that and took the risk and bought one. It does everything you said it would in the video and during our phone calls. It sets up in a very timely fashion, cuts smooth and leaves my stone clean and ready for finishing. I was concerned about cutting small pieces (like 10xI8) and was amazed at how accurate and precise my cuts were. Michelangelo Stone is just starting out but we will grow with this saw and am proud to have it as part of my inventory of tools. This saw will always play an important part of my production, even when we get to the point of buying one of those "big guys ".
I've already recommend an Accu-Glide to a friend just starting out on his own and I'm sure he'll be contacting you soon.
